The Rochelle Park Public School District Board of Education is seeking an accomplished and student-centered educational leader to serve as its next Superintendent of Schools. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support a thriving PreK–8 district consisting of one school with approximately 480 students and an operating budget of $17.7 million. They have a send-receive relationship with the Hackensack Public Schools for grades 9-12.
Qualifications
- New Jersey School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility (required)
- Demonstrated record of effective, visionary leadership
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational. communication, and relationship-building skills
- Extensive knowledge of Special Education, English Language Learners, and Gifted & Talented (required)
- Prior experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Principal at the K-8 Level or Director of Special Services (preferred)
- Has experience (or related) as a classroom teacher at the K-8 level
- Is a visionary forward thinking leader who has a proven track record as a results-oriented administrator that understands the complexities of a high expectation community. A competitive salary (range $170,000-$190,000) and benefits package will be offered. Salary is commensurate with experience and in accordance with New Jersey State regulations.
